The name Hill Cannon has been established for over 40 years and is a name synonymous with providing quality civil and structural engineering services. The name Hill Cannon has an international reputation for excellence in the design of multi-storey car parks. Partners of Hill Cannon Consulting LLP are co-authors of the Car Park Designers' Handbook which is available through the Institution of Civil Engineers bookshop.
Hill Cannon has traded as various names since 1967 and since 2005, Hill Cannon (UK) Ltd and Hill Cannon Parking LLP have co-existed. However, after a tough period for building consultants, the need to structure a business capable of continuing for the next forty years requires a well structured business plan and the newly re-structured practice, Hill Cannon Consulting LLP, will be better suited to capitalise on the increasing lists of challenging prospective work in both the UK and overseas, from a 200 space facility in Manchester to a 4,000 space car park in Kuwait.
Current projects include the new 1,600 space car park at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre to be completed in time for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In addition, the practice provides design services for all small local building projects to large schools, offices, nursing homes, leisure facilities and industrial units.
